Doja Cat fans have been calling themselves “Kittenz,” but one person doesn’t seem to like the nickname - Doja Cat! In a series of now-deleted tweets, the singer reportedly told her fans in pretty blunt terms that she did not approve.
“my fans don't name themselves s***. if you call yourself a "kitten" or f***ing "kittenz" that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house,” Doja tweeted.
She didn’t stop there. When fans asked what they should call themselves instead, Doja apparently told them “delete the entire account and rethink everything.” People aren’t reacting great on Twitter. Examples of fans not loving being called out by Doja include: "It’s wild seeing Doja Cat actively trying to destroy her career” and “to everyone who bought doja tour tickets…… have fun!!”
