Save Ferris? More like spinoff-Ferris. Paramount announced they’re making “Sam And Victor’s Day Off,” a “follow-up” to the 1986 John Hughes classic movie, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”
David Katzenberg, best known as a director/executive producer of ABC series “The Godlbergs,” is confirmed to head-up the spinoff. The film reportedly follows the two valets who took the Ferrari from Alan Ruck’s Cameron Frye on a joy ride in the OG movie, which launched the career of Matthew Broderick.
Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald, creators behind “Cobra Kai,” are also attached the new chapter… which, as of yet, doesn’t have a release date.
